LiL please don't take this the wrong way but I do not make this sh1t up If I didn't believe it I wouldn't post it!! Chom Tong hospital, 50 k outside Chiang Mai is immaculate and modern. The feeder is from the clinic to the district hospitals (basic) to the next stage hospitals (in betweeny) and on to the specialist regional meduical facilities in Chiang Mai which features modern teaching hospitals. I am making a comment based on personal experience of having put people into Chom Tong on 5 or 6 occasions and have never found it to be wanting. Fortunately I have not had the privilige of visiting other regional facilities to date. Please lets not go down the road of analysing the Thai health system hospital by hospital and hope that we don't have to examine any system anywhere in the world from the inside!!
