weird connections/memories
do you have something that just makes you remember someone or some moment in the past
mine is quite strange(i think) but what a connection
my Dad died when i was 4, but i spent tons of time with him while he was around
he was from the toughest neighborhood in Boston and just a no-nonsense type of guy
he loved the Boston Bruins(NHL Hockey) and Bobby Orr(their biggest star ever and one fo the 2 best players ever.
anyways, there is this old clip that use to run showing old Bobby Orr highlights to "Memories/The Way We Were" by Babara Streisand
now, when i hear that song, all i do is think about my dad. it is just kind of funny to me that i will go through my whole life thinking of this tough, no nonsense guy whenever i hear this song from Babara Streisand and it always gives me a moment of pause, whatever im doing, wherever I am
just think its kinda funny, but kinda cool
