To be honest, if you really think about it, the chances of this happening again are billions to 1. Realistically, there have only been 3 MAJOR incidents this year. When you compare that to the number of flights per day, you will find what happened a freak occurrence.

I can understand your apprehension, but I would still get on that aeroplane myself.

Ok, in July I took a flight with Thai from Phuket to Bangkok. The landing was a very bad landing (coming in to fast in bad weather), but a couple of days later I was on A Thai flight bound to Frankfurt. No problems.

You'll be fine. Try not to worry and enjoy your trip.
