Nokair started this around last october (sorry to the pedants if I have the exact date wrong). They would not accept international credit cards. You had to go through the whole rigmorole of sending faxes with credit card details, passport etc and frankly it wasn't worht the effort. They have probably lost a fair bit of custom to Air Asia and 1 to go over this.
