I don't think there's any specific comparison to be drawn really, we are all humans and naturally strive to look out for ourselves and do the best we can. The girls that get into this game do it with good intentions as Mav describes and also often with the dream of finding a guy they'd be happy to marry. From our side of things a lot of guys go to thailand after messy farang relationships, not on some blatant sex or find-a-wife tour but while there kinda get their eyes opened to how well a thai woman will treat her man. On the other end of the scale you've got BGs who've been in it for so long that it's broken their character, and the farang pr!cks who scam, lie, exploit and treat the girls like shit. Then you have everything in between.
My point is that it's not really a common behaviour link between us and BGs, more one that exists for people as a whole. To respond to your second post which I've just seen - I wouldn't describe their or our behaviour as "better" or "worse" and I don't judge BGs or those that pay them to be "bad". Obviously you have individuals on both sides that behave what nearly all would regard as badly but they are just that - individuals.
