Things like the war in Iraq, september 11th, concepts of working and money and that we dont just go to ATM s and money just falls out lol!!!!,
The War in Iraq and 9/11 doesn't really affect them as much as it does the UK, USA etc... they are not at war.
In terms of money falling out of ATM's, I don't see that as any different than foreigners coming to Patong etc... and thinking thats what Thailand is all about. You see loads of girls looking for money, they see loads of guys shelling out money, its not exactly a normal thing in everyday life.
The girls are probably of equivelant intelligence on average to supermarket checkout girls or factory workers back in the west.
