I can understand what the OP is trying to say.
But let's not forget that most girls in the bars are in their early 20's. Compare it to people of that age in your own country. They can be pretty ignorant too, and they are all supposed to have had proper (western) education.
Ending up in the barscene isn't the road to a proper worldview either.
Ok maybe they can not point out every country on a worldmap, but I can not say i encounterd real dumb girls either.
And yes, sometimes it sucks if you really like a girl but you get kinda stuck because of the language barrier.
And yes it can be annoying that their stereotype idea about "rich" falangs can't be talked out of their head, but their sanook view on life is something we can learn a lot of too.
