Hard to believe it would be good business to treat all mixed couples that way.
In that case I would find another hotel - they are making it clear they don't want mixed couples - even if they are genuine mixed couples that other couples will THINK are BG and customer. Unusual... but who knows what some of the 5 star type places might think is good business.
There would be thai style fireworks (protracted verbal filleting!) if any hotel we had booked tried this crap with the (Thai) wife and I at check-in. A 1000 baht surcharge because she looks like a BG?
