the "thai girl" joiner fee happened to a friend of my wifes, the girl involved was a non-bg and tried to hit her fiance up with the joiner fee, poor girl did not even understand the problem, as she had never even heard the concept of "joiner fee", embarrasing for the poor girl.
i am with Minder on this one, i think my wife would be most horrified if it was asked for and i think for the first time i would see her angry, on our honeymoon in phuket last year,there was no problem on that trip.
