I have no problems paying for a double room even if I don't have a partner with me for every night....however i do object to the opportunistic embarrassment factor that some hotels prey upon when asking for JF's especially in front of the girl (when you are half cut late at night/early morning) or even worse on your bill at the end of your stay without ever mentioning it prior.......so it blows up into a huge confrontation and you are the one made to look like the unreasonable tightwad!
