First off, good luck and hope it all works out well for you.
Like you were initially I am now as I am relatively new to the scene. I am in daily contact with a friend from Patong and hope I am not asked to sponsor. I know if ever I were to, it does not guarantee anything in the future. Even w/out sponsorship, I know that my friend could suddenly disappear. I don't blame her for doing so at the same time if it will give her a better life.
I just take one day at a time.
I guess my view is still developing.
