I have always worked on the 500/1000 rule and after 2 trips it held well.
3rd trip BG says 1500 I replied as any gentleman would, "you have same as that girl" 1000 and she accepted that of course.
Well good luck to the BGs if some one over pays them, I stick to the unwritten rule.
It might cost me sometimes but plenty of them outthere.
