I remember when I lived in Kathu 2 years ago there was one
afternoon I came over the hill into Patong after a heavy downpour and there were
3 seperate accidents on the hill including a truck on the Patong side that had gone off the road and was in the deep gully on the left side.
As for the storm drains, sometimes you hit one on a bike and wonder if you're going to come out the other side in one piece. Took a hit one time which made everything in the front basket come flying out and also the key came out the ignition and went into the drain
