I've been with plenty of girls who never mention/ask for money, and probably would have walked out the hotel door with nothing (due to their shyness/modesty) if I didn't slip a note or two into their handbag as they were getting dressed.
So when you say "if they don't expect money", I don't think you can assume that if they don't explicitly say "you give me money for boom boom okay?" then it doesn't mean that they don't expect it.
