Or maybe love is not important....so long as you are happy with her you can marry her and introduce her to mother?.....seems very Mail Order Brideish to me, not to mention costly if it goes pear shaped.

What you have written is totally correct and of course could well be the reality of my situation (no pun intended) I'm going to give it go, based on the many successes of people meeting in this way, i hope i stand as good a chance as anybody. I'm thinking many couple's do stay together otherwise these places would i presume soon close down if they didn't work. I think with the girl making a serious commitment of marriage and moving to my country for example shows a real determination to make it work on both sides. I hope mine will be one of the successes but at the same time it could as quickly be the biggest mistake of my life. I understand that fully and is the risk I’m prepared to take.
I hope i prove myself right and don't hear your words and others ringing in my ears when it goes wrong.
