Haven't read the whole thread but if it's your prepared to sponsor her that is indication that you want to be with her but can't all the time so you're prepared to send her money for the periods that you are not...and if you don't send her enough then she is almost certain to carry on working. Then how would you feel? You'd be sending her money but she would still be sleeping with other customers.
So you are going to be here 6 months of the year...spending the whole time with her? yet you live only an hour away in Penang which is easy for Thais to go to, so if you really want to be with her why don't you take her to Penang for much of the other 6 months?
If it were me, unless it was my intention to fully commit to her I wouldn't send her any money.
