I just moved mine here as a matter of course.. Seemed easier..
Also agree on car prices, seen cars for 200 and under that would be 300 and over down here.. City driving not kind of cars tho.

Ive just been calling the insurance-company from the old owner, and they have been more than happy to extend it and transfere it to my name. I guess you are right about the paperwork if you want to sell.....It took me 3 weeks to get my blue book for the Chang Mai car. But it was all taken care of from the registration office in Phuket. They just gave me some temperary papers to show the police if I got stopped.
