I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this yet but dont you think it would help aid the organising of a hijacking or even in acts of Terrorism whilst on board ?
Also they use mobile signals to activate bombs etc, and a mobile phone itself can be disguised as a potential detonating device...
Maybe i've been watching too much Discovery channel !!!
