Hi guys

i'm from Perth Western Australia and will be travelling for the first time to Phuket on the 1 december till the 10 December with a mate of mine. we are both in our early 30s...

I have been reading some of the threads and they have been very usefull apart from the short hand that i'm still trying to figure out what some of it means.

We are going to be staying hell cheapo at the patong beach lodge... i mean we only need the rooms to shower, sleep and whatever might come along our way...

I have heard heaps about MTB and it seems that it must be the place to go as soon as we get there.....

is there any other information that it is usefull for us... where to go and drink and meet girls... we want to try and mix it up with the local culture and people as much as possible because if we wanted to stick with the western culture or people we would go somewhere else or stay in Australia and not Thailand

I was wondering if there is anyone that can give me any usefull it would be very much appreciated.
