Stop taking it personally - it is the way that type of business is conducted in Phuket that has the "lads" here giving you a hammering.
If every "black bloke" you met in tenerife did rob you or would rob you if you let them, then you would hate them quick enough - hence the feeling by the board members here toward time share types in Phuket.
There are no nice ones; they are all arseholes because that is how that type of business is conducted in LOS - end of story. To do that type of work in Phuket you must lower your current standards - imagine you are a British Bobby and went to LOS to do the same work - you would have to play the game the way it is played there, not the way you are currently allowed to play it at home.
....and be careful who you make friends with, go drinking with Dodger and you might wake up in a bath tub full of ice ... Enjoy.
