I've only just learned how to say "Check bin Khaaaaaaaaaaaap!" and if they were to do away with them I would have wasted my money on that 'Teach yourself Thai' book I bought at the airport in Bangkok.

So I say they should stay and stay on the table in front of you so you can check it now and again (Not called a 'check bin' for nuffin innit!) Some bars keep each persons bins behind the bar and produce it when you ask...........Those are the ones I have found to be 'padded' now and again!
