Sometimes it still remains a mystery what they are trying to say, but respect to them. If my thai would be only as much of 10% of their english, I would be very happy.

Fairly good advice so Ill just add, make sure no one is around when you read out loud.
'me want boom boom you now big boy' and certain other sms expressions are universally understood...
