That pretty much describes it as far as I am concerned. When in BKK, it is a good place to go with a buddy, to have a couple beers and watch the girls dance, just to get in the mood, and then on to other venues. It is a spectacle, and gets your blood going, just to have a gawk at it, and then move on. But if you don't find what you are looking for, then it is OK for a return trip at 2:00 AM. Then there is a certain crazy energy there if you stand at the entrance as the girls come out or go across the street to Nana parking lot. Looking at the parade of girls, talking to some of them, and maybe even hooking up with one, if one catches your fancy, is for me, the best part of NEP. Watching them dance is boring after a beer or two, and if I was by myself, I might walk through it just to gawk, but wouldn't stop for a drink.
If it closes, it will be too bad, but only because it is a landmark, and because it could be the first chime of the death knell for the whole system of ladybars in LOS in the future, the start of a long decline and eventual demise.
I miss Clinton Plaza!

Those were the days, my friend. I thought they'd never end!
