I don't thing that is correct.
New it is $399 USD (plus ~$32 for tax). In toronto (a 2 hour drive from the nearest US apple store) the gray market craig's list price is around $600+. It is around the same price for gray market US-based exporters.
I'd be surprised (and concerned) if it was so cheap in HK. Unless they are somehow pulling directly from the Chinese factory and bypassing the apple network, which I doubt.
