Thnx for photos. As soon as you see a few photos from people it can trigger of memories that you hadnt thought of for a long time.
The Muay arena set me thinking. I remember after the fights they would come and ask for some money, and I remember thinking how solid and hard the boxers were. A day or 2 later, me and my friend were in the Irish Bar on the beach front next to McDonalds.
I ordered a pint of lager, and my friend ordered some proper Irish Beer (which we can get all the time at England) called Kilkennys.
The barman asked for 550baht for 2 drinks. We just laughed at him and told him there was a mistake. He said there wasnt.
We called the manager over and he told us the Kilkennys was 350baht for 1 pint !!!!!! We were just about to tell him to piss off, when a Thai doorman was right behind us. The manager of the bar basically said pay up or the Muay expert will kick the shit out of you both
Naturally, I would like to tell you that with one punch I knocked the doorman out, broke the barmans nose and made the manager beg for mercy as I half choked him to death........ but, that didnt happen
We paid the money, drank our drinks and never returned again.....................bastards
