Paulie, i with most of the other bms on this, i think that a job where she is mixing with the most locals is the best way. sort of enforced learning, yes of course she is leaving her comfort zone by seeing a long term future in the west, and that is laudable because its not easy.

hanging around with a predominately thai crowd could be more a backward step than a forward one. i would never want the wife working in a thai dominated environment, all the thai bullshite is so obvious to see in these places. to her credit she stated to me she did not wish to work in a thai dominated workplace.

even if the work is not paying much of a salary, its just the forward step they are making imho,the amount of salary does not matter, my wifes salary per week is what i can earn for a 8 hours day overtime.
