However the fact still stands that Osama is origionally a Saudi.. The rivals at the time were Iranian.. America funded anti Iranian causes. This is unarguable fact. As to how friendly those nice Saudi's are, what happened to the embassy yesterday ?? How many 9/11 bombers were Saudi ?? Etc Just because the Bush family have massive and complex business relations with Saudi dont believe the propaganda.

Also the Taliban WERE the direct recipients of the US money, arms, and training into Afganistan during the period when they really started to gain power. Same as Saddam, they were fine when they were being used to fight the enemies of the US then they were Mujadaheen 'freedom fighters'.. As with Saddam using sarin gas while he was American sponsored (the world looked the other way) its ok to make your facts fit the curcumstances.

One little fact that no one seems to bother about.. While the Taliban were in place opium production was severly punished and to provide money (indirectly) to the new administration and allow local warlords to gain income the US have turned a blind eye to massive poppy growing and opium / heroin production. I am told by old associates that a K of smack anywhere along the route from Pakistan to Turkey to western Europe is now 1/2 to 2/3rds what it cost a few years ago while Taliban were controlling it and the volume of movement is far far higher now.

So while we are getting our reports of the success of various military actions and interferences (note I am not pro Taliban, my point is filter your media) there are many many untold variables directly effecting our lives that we are not told about and need to use a very fine radar to understand.
