I think u'll find that they do. Vegetarianism (technically vegan) is a big part of Daoist belief that is practiced by the ethnic Chinese. The Thai term for it is เจ pronounced "jay". Jay food and jay food restaurants can be identified by the little yellow flags that have เจ written on them, as does the kiosk in the Jungceylon food court.
