The more Mayweather pissed the Brits off the more succesful this enterprise was. And if you think Hatton wasn't aware of this you're crazy. This was the perfect Rocky and Appollo Creed revival. I saw the video where the Brits were giving Mayweather the finger. It was hilarious. The people in the game know the score. Its the poor sap sipping his pint in some town that time forgot that believes the drama.

This I agree with.. But I also think that the fans enjoy the wind up themselves.. Its boxing, you know its 1 on 1, pick your champion, and root for him kinda stuff..

I also have to say I dont see the anthem booing being much a deal, then again I dont have much country alliegences. I wouldnt set out to deeply offend opposite supporters but I dont see much more in booing and anthem than booing a opposite team / competitor ?!?! I know Americans tend to get all misty eyed over 'old glory' and anthems etc, it does nothing much for me, but thats just me. Then again I dont really like the booing aspect at all.. Cheer your guy sure, but dont hoot at the other one.
