Never use the ISP's DNS now, just use
OpenDNS much better than any of the ISP's DNS I have used in Phuket. Most of the time my connection was "down" it ended up being dns issues.
TOT down most of the day for me in Chalong/Rawai over IPStar (no sniggering - it's feckin terrible, the latency on the connection is killing me!). Need to get EVDO in soon. Also planning on buying up a bunch of them and leasing them out short term for people...prob combined with an Asus EEE as a package.
