Agree with you there as there seems to be far more familys around these days and far fewer of the single male tourist. As for getting seedier I think the opposite is happening and the place is much tamer than it ever was. Cannot see the bar scene ever disappearing but as the destination becomes more and more family orientated the scene will get less and less. As for that being good or bad I'm not really sure, but myself like many others originally came here for the bar scene and don't mind the odd night out playing up in the bars when the missus will give me a pass-out
