I was up in bangkok during the veg festival time and the Jay food in the food courts was great...forget most of the names of the dishes but almost every stall had a dedicated section for Jay food. Plenty of veg Khanom Jeen which my fav

Also Chinatown was full of it, great food and a great atmosphere, just walking around stopping at 4 or 5 places to eat something different at each one. Not tried in JC so can't comment on that, but in general I do like Jay food.

A blog I always read is RealThai, fantastic photography of food from all over bangkok and further afield. A great way to search out the little speciality places which you would never otherwise find
