While the news media in the U.S. are reporting normal sales this holiday all of the economic reports are predicting a huge financial crash just about to happen. Everything I see around me shows very little luxury money being spent. Air sales are down as well as the hotel / dinning industry Nation wide.
While the media keeps telling everyone that the dollar is ok I think most people are taking a wait and see attitude. I have not been in Europe but I understand from others that money is getting pretty tight there as well.
