I've never been one to have a set budget.
I tend to set aside a certain amount of money in my bank account for my holiday and on arrival I don't go silly with my money.

You've never been before so you may find it hard to "pull your head in" when it comes to spending. You may get caught up in the atmosphere of the place.....in fact....you will.......and this could end up in a budget blowout.

My advice is when you arrive, don't be so fixated on 1000bht for this.....and 2000bht for that.
Your opinions, needs and desires will change once you are amongst it.
For example, you may find that you don't want a motorbike all the time. All of a sudden you've got more baht to play with.

If I may try and give you an example of pre-conceived ideas and plans.
I am a Firefighter and I never ... ever..... go to a fire with a set or rigid plan.
I always have an idea of what I will do but I have to allow for each set of circumstances.
Have an idea....not an exact plan ...of what you will do and how you will spend your money......and do things accordingly once you arrive and you are in amongst it.

I agree with the other BM's about creating a difficult situation if you get a freebie and then move on to another girl. Can be big trouble. Word will spread and trust me it does....and then all of a sudden your choices are narrowed.
Always give them something.

Above all else.....enjoy yourself.
