I think its crazy to dive without insurance. Anything can happen anytime and without proper care you are screwed. I have separate medical diving insurance and I also take a DAN policy when diving abroad just to be safe. It wont bankrupt you and if you have a serious problem youll get help for years to come and not be left to rot
