My advise is take the refund. Looking at when you wish to travel,if you go to
www.ebookers.co.uk and put your dates up I got a flight for £483 inc taxes from Heathrow to BKK.You can also get a flight with airasia for around 1200baht each way from BKK to HKT. You only have to arrange your flight from Dublin? to LHR. Dont know if this is cheaper than you have been paying but it seems a great price to me. Also Eva comes highly recommended by BMs. and its a direct flight.
I wouldnt fly AirFrance if the tickets were £200
