One more bondsman-related point: It is unlikely that any bondsman will now touch Simpson. Not only did he violate his conditions but he stiffed the bondsman... who foolishly gave Simpson credit.

So now he can plan on forking over the entire bail amount to a court clerk. Since he lives in Florida the judge is unlikely to accept property.

Note: Florida and Texas were settled by debtors. For this reason their laws are the most debtor-friendly in the nation. Arguably the reason Simpson chose to live in Florida.

I have talked to people who were in the Twin Towers facility when Simpson was there during OJ I. Despite the nuts-to-butts overcrowding he had an entire floor to himself. With a gym, luxury furnishings, catered meals-- all the result of creative petitions by his legal team. One can hardly envision Clark County extending the same courtesies.
