The fact is as a visitor (and even as a resident) you will never really know.. Maintaining distance relationships in this environment is so tough as to like picking a number at roulette.
I always advise that unless you can get the girl to you, or you to the girl, simply enjoy the moment and go home with a smile and happy memories. Otherwise it could eat you up with the wondering and worry.
