It is a small fishing port and the beach is close to the tide line so that at high tide there is nothing much there. The king has a big palace there which he lives in a lot. The police go on parade and clean the place up when his wife pops in to see him.

I am sure that many people would think it is quaint, quiet and picturesque - it is - but is also boring boring boring!!

I was surprised to hear you say that about Hua Hin. It certainly didn't sound dull in the post where you told the story of the big party you threw there when you were leaving!!
