When I was there at christmas a regular walks in and none of the girls seemed very eager to go with him. The reason for that I was told was that he rarely gave a tip, only if he was very happy with the service would he give 100 baht. The girls expect a good tip though!! Once a girl gave me a fantastic service and I gave her a thousand. She looks at me and say: thanks but can you give 500 more??
I was a bit dumbfounded by that one......
