The two links you left me didn't ring a bell, but I was looking around on youtube for some of those bands, and I think Carabao & Parn seems to be the one I was looking for. I didn't find the song I described in my previous post yet, but I'm pretty sure I recognized a few others. However, I think that the live band playing at Galaxy back then was some kinda rock band that powered those songs up a bit, because this isn't really the same. They're way more soft than the ones at the disco, so I guess they just rocked those popular songs in their own way to make them sound better.
