Its not the shops themselves but the FFFFs (fat-bottomed, frustrated, farang females) who block the pavement whilst window shopping. Normally they will have their husband with them so he has to wait whilst his wife looks at overpriced tat, and because he's not interested he stands a couple of feet away blocking the pavement, even more effectively. Its even worse when they have a buggy with them. Doesn't anyone bring those neat sleak push chairs with them? No, it seems they all bring massive pushchairs that completely block the pavements.
So lets put the shops where they belong - in the shopping malls!

Know what u mean, and then add the tuk tuk and the drivers and itīs almost impossible to walk on the beach road!
