If she has got a Thai sim card, then she has a Thai registered number. If you put the same number in with the Noggie int code, then you call the Norwegian registered number, not the Thai. Thats why the Norwegian guy had no idea.
So use the Thai int code, as been explained before in the thread! Although she will need alot of credit on her sim just to receive your call. Especially difficult if its a pay as you go sim, as will be near impossible to purchase a top-up outside Thailand.
So get her to buy a local Norwegian sim card and then use the Norwegian int code when phoning her. BUt of course you will need to communicate with her to say this, which could be difficult.
My advice is just use the basic smoke signals form a hill side in Wales and she should be able to see it from a mountain top in Noggie land!
