Amazing. What kind of nutjob intentionally disrupts an aircraft? 300 tons of metal, people, and fuel roaring past at +150 knots is not a video game.
A "successful" interference is, what? A crash? Hundreds of innocent people dead and-- ha ha-- the protesters homes, families, neighborhoods, up in smoke. Will there be another press conference for the bereaved parties to confront the (surviving) protesters? What is the position of Thai law enforcement and aviation authorities on this matter? To tolerate such a "protest"-- even an ineffectual one-- is a straight route to international pariah status.
The mind boggles.
