Glad u had a good time, I´m also just back after 2 weeks and I agree with u that is far to short time especially when u travel around abit in LOS, my first week went ok slowly, showing my two friends around phuket island who where 1st timers, the second week we went to phi phi (which is no nice anymore) and the week just flow away. Atleast 3 weeks next time!
And like u say -thai people seem to find it hard to tell the whole truth-
I think sometimes the lie for real, sometimes it´s a languageproblem but then the rest of the time it´s just their way, abit of thruth here and there and u get the whole picture after a while
But u just gonna love them anyway, always with a smile on their faces even if they been working in a restaurang/reception or else for 13 hours
