North of England is a bit vague.....but if you have any of the large Chinese Hypermarkets near you, Hoo Hing, Loon Fung Fu Kyuu (Okay I made that one up) they often stock Thai products and certainly cases of Singha.

Singha altered their recipe a few months ago...it was kept rather quiet, I think so as not to upset the Thai's that their National beer was being altered to compete with Heineken. I keep meaning to try one to see how much of a change was made, but I just keep ordering a Heineken before I think about it.
