I got mine done a few years ago at Rutnin Gimbel Eye Hospital in Bangkok. I posted a
lurid description of it on Stickman at the time.
The results were great (so far so good, anyway). Wonderful to be able to open my eyes underwater and actually see stuff. And no more fumbling for contacts the morning after (or forgetting to take them out - nothing worse than contacts stuck in hung-over eyeballs).
