Hi, new to this forum but not new to thailand and only been singed once by the bgs rather than burnt
(and not so long ago either
)not been to phuket yet as I usually spend time in samui and koh tao so i think a trip down there is due on my return to thailand in April especially after reading this forum. What a great forum, love the chilled nature and banter that goes on here.
I think it only takes 5 hours or something to drive down from samui (after i've got of the ferry). Well I hope to chat a lot on here in the near future and share some of my experiences.
Quick question while i'm on, in lamai (samui)some beer bar owners seemed a bit non plussed if I only went there to watch a football match (love man city even if we haven't won feck all ever in my life time) i still bought the odd lady drink but when footy is on i'm just not interested in small talk or the ladies really. Wouldn't mind but i drink like a fish it wasn't as if i was only going for one.
