Carrefour is good for a lot of things, but fruits and other fresh food is currently best to buy in Kathu. Ead gave me a lot of examples between these two and Kathu is a lot cheaper on many things.
If you have a family (like I have) the price difference is a big difference money wise. Shopping at Kathu is the way to go, ofcourse she will still buy some things in Patong.
