Hi so-cal - should you be reading this? Yes because you have a right to all the info to inform your behavior. Are all thai women like this? No! - as the OP points out they are in a minority. However this behavior is far from rare so;
1. Be on your guard a little in relationships, dont take everything on face value, watch for warning signs, remember trust is built not automatic.
2. But dont be overly cynical or it will poison your relationships with all women and deprive you of glorious opportunities for wonderful experiences.
